What is an Escape Room? An Escape Room is a new way to have fun with your buddies, family members, and co-workers. Your group will be "locked" in a room with a central theme and chock full of hidden items. You and your teammates will have to work together to find clues and solve riddles in order to make your way out of the room in forty-five minutes.
Where are you located? Bluff City Escape Rooms is in Bartlett, just East of the intersection at Stage Road and Kirby-Whitten. We can be found with ample parking right behind Sheridan's Frozen Custard.
What are your hours? We are open Tuesday and Wednesday by appointment only and Thursday: Noon - 9pm, Friday & Saturday: Noon - 11pm, and Sunday: 2pm - 6pm.
Can I just walk in and do a room? Yes! On Thursday - Sunday during our normal hours you can walk in and if we have a room available you're welcome to play at our regular price per person.*
*This option is not available on Tuesday and Wednesday. You must book at least 2 hours ahead of your appointment on Tuesday and Wednesday.
How much does it cost to book a time slot? Time slots are available for $17.00 plus tax per person until the Room is full. Each room has limit based on the room size and can be found during the booking process.
Is there a time limit for the Escape Room? Yes, there is a forty-five minute time limit to find the final clue to "escape" the room in the Theater, Ship Dungeon, and Bistro: The Aftermath. In Mr. Jones's Shop and Down the Rabbit Hole, there is an hour time limit.
Can I leave the room once "locked" inside? Although the ultimate goal is to find all of the clues in order to "escape" the room, you do have the ability to leave the room if needed. We recommend that bathroom breaks be taken prior to time beginning, as the countdown does not stop when a participant leaves the room.
Is this a scary activity? For the Theater, Ship Dungeon, Mr. Jones's Shop, and Down the Rabbit Hole: No, this is not a haunted house. You may feel the anxiety of pressure building with the time constraint your group is given, but the rooms are not designed to be frightening and nothing is rigged to jump out and startle you.
For you thrill-seekers who want the a slightly more spooky experience mixed with some escape room fun, check out our how the Bistro has been transformed into the spooky sequel, The Aftermath!
How many spots do I have to book? You are welcome to book as little or as many spots as you wish until the room is full. Booking a time slot for one or two people means you may have to make some new friends because booking remains open until the room fills up. Or you could make a night of it with a group of friends, and you have the whole room to yourself.
Are there age requirements for participating in the Escape Rooms? There is no age requirement to participate, however, keep in mind that the games are designed for adults, so some younger children might find the clues to be too difficult. All participants entering the Room must have booked online, and children under the age of 14 MUST be accompanied by an adult.
What do I need to bring with me to Bluff City Escape Rooms? Nothing. You just book your time slot and show up ready to flex your mental skills!
Is there any subject I should study prior to booking a time slot? Our Escape Rooms are designed to be fun and require no preexisting knowledge. Everything you need to know to figure out the next step is provided for you in the room.
Is my booking refundable? All bookings are nonrefundable. However, we are happy to assist you in rescheduling your booking as long as you contact us 24 hours prior to your original appointment time.
