What is an Escape Room? An Escape Room is a way to have fun with your buddies, family members, and co-workers. Your group will be "locked" in a room with a central theme and chock full of hidden items. You and your teammates will have to work together to find clues and solve riddles in order to make your way out of the room before your time is up.
Where are you located? Bluff City Escape Rooms is in Bartlett, just East of the intersection at Stage Road and Kirby-Whitten, near Walgreens and the Hollywood 20 movie theater. Our building is behind the Top’s BBQ in Bartlett.
What are your hours? We are open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday by appointment only. We accept walk-ins on Friday from 3pm to 9pm, Saturday: Noon - 9pm, and Sunday: 2pm - 5:30pm.
Can I just walk in and do a room? Yes! On Friday - Sunday during our normal hours you can walk in and see if any rooms are available to play.
***Walking in is not an option on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. You must book at least 2 hours ahead of your appointment on these days.
How much does it cost to book a time slot online?
Groups of 4 or more that are booked online: $24.00 per person
Groups of 3 or fewer that are booked online: $28.00 per person
Walk-ins: $28.00 per person
We do offer discounts to active and retired military members, police and fire personnel, and first responders.
Is there a time limit for the Escape Room? Yes, you and your team will have 1 hour to find all the clues and solve the puzzles to escape each room.
Can I leave the room once "locked" inside? Although the ultimate goal is to find all of the clues in order to "escape" the room, you do have the ability to leave the room if needed. We recommend that bathroom breaks be taken prior to time beginning, as the countdown does not stop when a participant leaves the room.
Is this a scary activity? No, this is not a haunted house. You may feel the anxiety of pressure building with the time constraint your group is given, but the rooms are not designed to be frightening and nothing is rigged to jump out and startle you.
How many spots do I have to book? All of our rooms are private. You will have the room to yourselves regardless of how many people are in your group. Each room has limit based on the room size and can be found during the booking process.
***On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday booking requires a minimum of four people.***
Are there age requirements for participating in the Escape Rooms? There is no age requirement to participate. All participants entering the room must have booked online, and children under the age of 14 MUST be accompanied by an adult.
Want to wear your baby in the room? No problem!
Be sure to ask about our EscapeLite program for children ages 3 to 6. While they are encouraged to help the grown-ups with their puzzles, the kids are given their own scavenger hunt to complete. If they find all their items, they get a prize! This is free of charge and the little ones love feeling their own sense of accomplishment for the day!
What do I need to bring with me to Bluff City Escape Rooms? Nothing. You just book your time slot and show up ready to flex your mental skills!
Is there any subject I should study prior to booking a time slot? Our Escape Rooms are designed to be fun and require no preexisting knowledge. Everything you need to know to figure out the next step is provided for you in the room.
Is my booking refundable? All bookings are nonrefundable. However, we are happy to assist you in rescheduling your booking as long as you contact us 24 hours prior to your original appointment time.
What if I am running late? We ask that you arrive 5 to 10 minutes prior to your booking. To avoid scheduling conflicts, we must start your timer no later than 10 minutes after your appointed start time. If you arrive after your time has started you will begin your game with only the time remaining on the clock.
Am I allowed to use my cell phone while in the Escape Room? For the most part, no. We ask that you do not send out any spoilers using your while in the room. You will, however, not be required to lock away your phone.
Are gift certificates available for purchase? Of course! Come by to pick up a gift card or click here to purchase a voucher for a friend, family member, or co-worker!
Tell me more about these live video escape rooms… Happy to do it! Live video escape rooms give you an opportunity to escape one our rooms without ever leaving home! Once you book your time slot, you will be given a login for an online video meeting. You’ll then lead the host through the room collecting clues and solving puzzles until you escape! Terms and Conditions: Please note that your billing will show to have been processed to Red Dirt Hill Entertainment, LLC. Please contact us directly if you experience problems with billing before disputing any charges. Each booking entitles the customer to a single one-hour experience at Bluff City Escape Rooms. Please note that room timers begin TEN MINUTES after the scheduled booking time REGARDLESS of all members of your group being present. If you or another member of your group are running late, you/they are able to join the room already in progress. Confirmed bookings are nonrefundable. Should you need to change the details of your booking, you can do so up to 24 hours prior to the your appointment time by calling our office or emailing us. Each participant must be paid for through Bookeo. All children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
